Question

Made with legs and other parts,

Boiled in water, one of the arts.

Make a mockery, point and stare,

Wishing you could be out of there.

What's been stored, is put away,

Leaving more, for another day.

The darkest art for one to fear,

Knowing someone is always near.

Guess who's back back back, back again?

Lotus is back back back and I'm ripping off Eminem!

Frankenstein's monster!

Cooking a Thanksgiving turkey then storing up food for the winter, then getting stuck with your family inside all day while it snows

The art of potion making, Harry Potter style? The art of ritually mocking people to dehumanize them before slaying them and using their body parts to divine the future?

And then using those body parts in the art of potion making, Harry Potter style?

Grim humor for the win =P

A ginerbread man was my very first guess

It could be a mockery; not boiled I confess

So how about something whose making I know naught o'

Perhaps you're a candy-filled, fearful pinata?

Nice to see you back, lotus.

Thank you all for your welcomes. I always loved your answers, plasmid. Not this one, though.

While the answer is in here. I'd rather the riddle was fully understood before I give it away. She has the answer, but doesn't fully understand the riddle. So, when someone does, I'll give the trophy to both of you. : D

Stock

Made with legs and other parts,

Boiled in water, one of the arts. - beef stock, basically a broth/soup

Make a mockery, point and stare,

Wishing you could be out of there. - buying bad financial stocks? Laughing at the antics of livestock?

What's been stored, is put away,

Leaving more, for another day. - keeping, for example, a stock of rations for a cold winter

The darkest art for one to fear,

Knowing someone is always near. - you take stock of people that are nearby

Make a mockery, point and stare,

Wishing you could be out of there. - buying bad financial stocks? Laughing at the antics of livestock? I was thinking "laughing stocks" the cruel and unusual punishment of the stocks of old

What's been stored, is put away,

Leaving more, for another day. - keeping, for example, a stock of rations for a cold winter yes, stocking shelves, keeping stock

The darkest art for one to fear,

Knowing someone is always near. - you take stock of people that are nearby I meant to stock someone or follow them around

Wow, I can't believe I didn't think of "laughing-stocks." lol

Interesting element of the stalk/stock thing

Again, kudos to tiger_lilly111, I'm feeling kinda guilty for having stolen her thunder =(

Ooooh I didn't even realize

stalk wrong in my head. So, without my knowing, it was even more of a play on words than I thought : )
