Sorry, I was trying to clarify a point by adding the addendum, but I guess I made the problem more confusing. What I meant was, that assuming that preference #2 takes priority, i.e. if they know they will get a bribe at some point, they vote yes, if they know they won't, they vote no, assuming that, the malevolence/benevolence clarifies ambiguous cases. Good thinking, but you're forgetting two things...the preference is based on the amount of coins that the pirates have when they leave the ship, so you may not need to give a bribe to a pirate a particular round if they know they're going to get a bribe in future rounds , and don't forget that their #1 preference is to be Pirate King, then gold, then benevolence/malevolence...

Oops, I forgot to clarify one thing...but actually it brings up a good exercise, so answer the question in these cases: I. They're malevolent pirates, given their first two preferences, their third preference is to see someone walk the plank. II. They're benevolent pirates, given their first two preferences, their third preference is not to see someone walk the plank. Edit: Being voted off the ship is not the same as walking the plank. If they're voted off, they leave alive with their accumulated gold .

After long months of adventuring the seven seas, the Pirates return with a eighth crewman just in time to star on "Who Wants to be Pirate King" on the Grand Line Network, the new hit reality Pirate Game show. The rules are as follows: Every round the current Captain makes a proposal on who to vote off the ship that round, which the pirates vote yes or no on. If half or more of the remaining pirates vote yes, the proposal is followed and a new round begins. If more than half of the pirates vote no, the Captain walks the plank and the next ranked pirate becomes Captain, and a new round starts. Of course, being pirates, the Captain can influence his crewmen's votes by bribing any pirate(s) with an counting number of gold coins during any and every round. The pirate's preferences are as follows: 1) Becoming Pirate King 2) The amount of gold they leave the ship with What is the minimum number of gold coins that the Captain Straw Hat (the current Captain) has to spend in order to become Pirate King?

Lol...you mean b/c I was Ted. I do like your idea for the team game...sounds like a coalitions game...;P The people in gray could definitely do some serious damage by acting as double-agents, i.e. pretending to be on one side while working for the other...

Lol, nice! Actually, I already pegged you for Niki before that based on your stolid and fervent defense of GC to Hiro... In a lot of games where ppl aren't so forthcoming about their roles, behavior is a good indicator ;P.

Well, a large part of the thanks (well, for the Heroes...I'm sure it was curses for the Company ) goes to Itachi for getting Sylar the first night... ...Also...*finally* Itachi and Bb were on the same side in a mafia game!...although they sure did a good job of making it seem like they weren't...;P Question to the Company: Did you know Sinistral was Parkman? That was a very good choice...

Nice ending, Frost...I sure made short work of Slick...;P...It was funny how that went full-circle...Slick coming after me as Sylar, the Company coming after me, Slick then becoming Company, and finally dying by my radioactive hands... (gotta use one last time ) Great job to all! That was fun...and far more acting than I'm use to...hope no one got hurt by my feigned aggressiveness Especially Impervious, hope the bullying didn't get to you...I was a little suspicious of you but when you dropped that obvious hint to your role I kept on your case so that the Company wouldn't kill you...it was an act ...but it was funny when you actually thought I was going to kill you and started calling out for saving roles...ironically what I was trying to do was make it so that you didn't need a saving role...that's why I kept stressing that you should trust me as the veteran player and confirmed innocent . Sorry Prof. T, I misunderstood your hint...thanks for protecting me anyways ;P. No one fell into our trap to pretend to be Parkman, but I'm surprised no one else claimed to be Nathan...I figured out who SK was by the fact that every one of her posts in Day 1 ended with a plea to Hiro to take back his kill on GC... To the Company: Nice plan, setting up Bb like that...you knew Itachi would go for him and when it was revealed that Bb was an innocent, Itachi would be next (maybe even killed by Ted or Niki)...it might have worked...except I didn't die ;P...but it really was an excellent plan. All in all, great game and many thanks to Frost and Bb for making it!

Getting annoying? I thought she was annoying from the get-go...lol... I'm pretty sure the only reason they kept her around was to prance around in sexy outfits...I wish they'd kept Isaac around for the same reason *sigh* ;P...oh well...I'll always have Peter :wub: And I like Sylar too...I think I understand why he finally becomes good...that was pretty smart of Angela Petrelli to "feed" him that power. Although I really don't like his hair... But I'm disappointed to see the anti-matter ability gone...with it maybe they could finally have a crisis that didn't involve the world exploding...they could have the world implode instead!

Yeah, Peter targeting Kat will let us know Kat's role, which will be VERY useful. We'll know exactly who to inject tomorrow and the Company doesn't stand a chance .

Yeah...I want to get close to the good-looking uncle too ;P But Nathan definitely wants to save the hairy radioactive redneck...it will get him voters from the agricultural sector... The fact that the Company is overtly expressing that they want you to go for Kat means it's most likely a ruse to try to get us to change our plans, don't fall for it...

I'm really curious about this whole deal with the Petrelli's father. Also, Suresh is starting to freak me out...more so. And HRG...oh the irony. Darn! Not enough Peter...;P...The anti-matter power was awesome...why did he have to die before meeting Peter? T_T On the plus side, maybe we've *finally* seen the last of Maya...

...And if we say we're not going after PG tonight, they'll protect the other one...and I already said who I was going to attack... With Hiro going after Slick, and you targeting Kat, then there's only two others left for me and Nikki...so they know who we're going to attack anyways...

Lol...it was redundant...b/c I am MG ;P. But as long as we guarantee the safety of the important roles, it is better for us to actually get a kill, since they have the ability to block 2 attacks, the only way to do that is by attacking with all 3.

Impervious, trust me. Since they still have the Haitian and Linderman, it's better for us to go for as many attacks as they can, so we're guaranteed at least one kill. They have the potential to block 2 attacks, so we need 3. And if you go for PG, they can still Haitian DL and kill you. You're much more likely to stay alive if you go after Slick2 . You can prove yourself tomorrow and Hiro will take back his kill. Edit: Clarification.

Lol...me too...oh well, okay so I only need one protector...Nathan can protect me since he protected Itachi yesterday, Claire protect Itachi...Nikki go after PG, Hiro go after Slick2 (he can defend himself tomorrow if he wants), I'll go after CP. Or alternatively Hiro go after PG and DL protect Hiro. Sorry, Bb...you're not that useful to us anymore .

Edit: Claire and DL protect me...not to be selfish or anything, but as it takes two injections to kill, I'm the heavy hitter for the innocents, and once we get the Haitian I'm pretty much invincible...if I die, then with Linderman and Candice the Company has a pretty good chance of winning this...
