BUTTE
If 0, then Q _ _ _ _, since the _ _ _ TE is eliminated by WROTE and the _ _ T _ _ is out from VOTER.
If 1, then _ U _ _ _, since _ _ TTE have been invalidated from above and the if the U were wrong, then the Q would have to be right, meaning that the B could not be. This is because the _ _ _ ER in QUEER is wrong from VOTER, so it must be QUE _ _ = 1. The _ _ _ TE in QUOTE is similarly removed by WROTE, leaving QUO _ _ = 1. Since the E and O overlap, neither can be right, leaving QU _ _ _. If the Q was correct, then BUTTE should be 0 because the B cannot be correct if Q is right. Leaving the U as the only valid letter if BUTTE = 1.
If 2, then BU _ _ _, because TTE invalidated above.
It's convoluted, but it should be right.

I'm not sure if that word was allowed, but... It turned out good I guess...
It has to be allowed ... it's guess-able
I think the rules state 5p per letter and an additional 5 for the last so my score would be 15: F U Z _ Y - 5 and F U Z Z Y - 10.
