  1. Okay... You search the wooden panels. You notice a rhythemic thumping, and it sounds like a beeping, almost like a timer. You investigate the chainsaw. It is a flawless Stihl chainsaw. It works, too. Then, one policeman notices there's a little crack on the bottom of the wall.
  2. Sorry, must not have posted the explanation. Here it is. The chainsaw starts beeping. You drop it in shock. Then one of the steel walls open to reveal a wooden panel. It says, "This wooden panel opens to your final doom." What do you do?
  3. To everyone: read my explanation. To Miss Kitten, thank you for calling me stupid. It's not even my riddle. I'll give credit to where I got the riddles from.
  4. The blood of the earth is petroleum, trees fear its roar becauses trees are chopped by chainsaws, and a man holds a chainsaw to use it. Understand?
  5. Erm... oh, well. You still survive. The point was that the voltage of the room was so high, it would zap you. However, there is no electricity here, so no 1,000,000 voltage would run through your legs. And no, Brian Dennis is an investigator. And no, he does not have earbuds. So that option is kinda out. Sorry to rain on your parade.
  6. Yes. 18 men plus you, since two men were taking the guards for questioning.
  7. Not an electric chair, but yes, all three of you are correct. You go through Door #2, preparing for the worst. However, you come across a door and another sign that says, "Good job." You enter the door. There is nothing but a phone. You pick up the phone. The speaker says, "I drink the blood of the Earth, and the trees fear my roar, yet a man may hold me in his hands. Pick up the object I depict." The table the phone is on opens. There are three objects inside the table. A woodpecker in a cage, a chainsaw, and a bomb. Which object do you pick up? Checkpoint.
  8. the most recent one: Ice storage is empty. Completely. No markings on walls or anything.

You drag the container into the ice storage. The water is relatively frozen almost immediately. You climb up the ramp and grab the key. You open the door and it opens to a noteboard. There are five other doors in the room. Each is marked with a number. The note says,

  9. Ice storage is empty. Completely. No markings on walls or anything. You drag the container into the ice storage. The water is relatively frozen almost immediately. You climb up the ramp and grab the key. You open the door and it opens to a noteboard. There are five other doors in the room. Each is marked with a number. The note says, "There are five ways to die in here. Door #1 leads to men firing flamethrowers. Door #2 leads to a metal room wired with electricity. Door #3 is filled with toxic vat. Door #4 has sirens wailing noise so loud it brings instant death. Door #5 has men with AK-47s firing at you. Don't bother using electrical devices, there is no electricity and radio connection." The walls are blank. There are those doors only in them. Which door will you go through?
  10. just updated burning phoenix

  11. Starting with Framm's original questions: Nothing on the Phoenix of Four Wings. The, of, wings. phoenix, four. Odd, even. The ____ of _____ wings. _____ phoenix ______ four ________. Plug it in. The phoenix of four wings. Edward: For falling in love with his girlfriend. You are by the building with a police squad, (and a warrant, since pennstate wants you to) and the two guards attack you again. You punch them in the face. You point your pistol at them. (does this answer pennstate's question?) You leave two of the twenty men to arrest the guards. The other seventeen follow you to the rooftop. You look at your wrist and call out, "Bombs Away!" A little pellet on the invisible protection of the safe starts beeping. There's a huge explosion that almost blows you off the rooftop. You silently thank your police trainer and crawl down. You use a radioactive scanner near the smoke, but come up with nothing. You stealthily rush to the safe. As soon as you enter, the safe door slams close. You're not getting out of there. You open the safe using master300's combination. You crawl in. You are in a red room. There's a locked door on the other side, a key hanging from an unreachable roof, fifty gallons of water in a trapezoid, and another door leading to an ice storage. What do you do?
  12. There is a sealed safe, but you can't find a way to get in. You recognize the safe as the one in the picture. However, it won't rotate. You find two guards guarding the entry. They point guns at you and force you to run away.
  13. Correct. But you have to know where the safe is. New message: Caller: My entry guards are very weak. Attack them so that they will shriek. Flee, then if you must, you may Call out loudly, "Bombs Away!" You can now enter the Phoenix HQ. The door is found unlocked. Since you can "die" now, you can "restart" from a checkpoint. If you enter the HQ, and you die, you will have to restart and re-enter the HQ.
  14. Not the exact place, but we do know it's in the Phoenix HQ. How do you suggest we should open the safe?
  15. Just finished picture of safe. This is what the photo looks like. Phoenix Safe.doc
  16. Okay. For your first question, no, if you want to know check the spoiler I posted yesterday. Jerry: Clark... Nope, don't know him. Debbie: Clark? I can remember one, and it's the class clown of high school. He had long, blonde hair, he was tall and thin, and his eyes were kind of tilted. (this fits the description of the Clark that came up to you) Edward: Clark... He's that no-good lowlife piece of dung that betrayed us. I used to think he was my friend. But then he found a way to frame me for something bad, and they kicked me out.
  17. Since it seems like no one's gonna get it soon, I'll say it. Sorry if it doesn't make sense, but it soon will. These are all the notes and their finders. If you want phone call riddles, I'll add them too on request. Kristina's note (the one found on James): "The phoenix aims for whoever finds the note first in every victim. You will always find the note." Juliet's note (the one found by Kristina's head): "Nice try, detective, but you let your guard down. You can save Juliet in the duel of Mercutio and Tybalt on March 10." Your note (the one found in Clark's package) : "You're next, young man. Don't ruin our plan."
  18. Brian Dennis doesn't know, but I do, and I tell you no. It was meant for Brian Dennis/you. Kristina's dead, sorry. But after being called a stalker and a creep from an 80-year-old female neighbor, (sorry for the stereotype) you sneak into her contacts book and find no Clark. No, the blue was a message from me, but the code itself was in invisible ink. Maxwell killed his parents with a knife made out of glued beaks. Creepy guy, eh? You search tirelessly, but find no Odeven. You do find an Nuevo Ano, but that means New Year, as in New Age, and that was in 1954. (I'm not sure if he exists, doubt he does) You are so close, you got the even words mixed up. It's incorrect grammar, I'll tell you that.
  19. The note says, "You're next, young man. Don't ruin our plan." There are no numbers. I will post the drawing of the safe once I'm done. Maxwell Miller is a criminal in the police records. He is known as a serial killer under the name of "Little Bird." Later, in adulthood, he changed his name to "Big Bird." As a matter of fact, he liked to leave dead birds on the ground painted red with the blood of the victim. He escaped, and is still being located. No one is shown in the photo. As I said, I will post a picture. Normal printing paper. No. You find his handwriting on the envelope saying, "To Detective Dennis." (That's your "name," by the way) It is someone else's. You check for invisible ink. To your delight, you find something. It says, "The, of, wings. phoenix, four. -Odeven" As you can see, I really want you to solve that code.
  20. I know... and I'm sure the actual answer is MUCH more simple than mine , but I thought I'd put it out there anyway, 'cause it's fun! . No... But I like your answer better than mine. I think a hint will suffice in the riddle. That is: I will never sail again. Font has to do with hint.
  21. [ Exactly! 1000 points to Justin.
  22. C'mon, let's get this going!
