Guest
A murder took place in one very high rise building. By all the evidence found at the crime site, showed that the crime was committed by a plumber. There was also a witness who said that the crime was committed by the man who is the plumber of the building. Police don't have any picture of the plumber with them. Police came to know that plumber is in his house. In plumber's house, he is playing cards with his 3 other friends, one of them is a bus driver, other is a watchman and third is a carpenter. Now police raids his house and find them playing. Even without having any clue who is the plumber, they directly arrested the plumber. How is the police man so sure that who is the plumber? Edit: they were all males in the room

0 Guest
This looks oddly similar to nayana's post just yesterday. But either way I think i've heard this one or a variant before. The others are all women. Just look around next time. It's right around yours, the same puzzle.

Consider they are all males playing the game in the room, then how the police man is so sure that who is the plumber?
0 Guest
Consider they are all males playing the game in the room, then how the police man is so sure that who is the plumber? maybe the plumber had his work uniform on. Or he was talking about his job while they were playing cards.

0 Guest
There was also a witness who said that the crime was committed by the man who is the plumber of the building. If there was a witness then chances are they got a description of the man, and when they got to his house the plumber was the only man fitting the description. ie: "Perhaps he was the only one wearing a red cap and shirt and blue overalls and a funny moustache!" quoting seventh sage
0 Guest
Many of you may be right but no one pointed out the dress that other might be wearing. In any case good discussion and very good answers indeed. Will post one thriller soon...
