0 DudleyDude
just read the rewrite. Weren't some of the old pyramids built with dimensions based on the Golden ratio? I'm not sure anyone ever really forgets the pyramids but the eye line could refer to the pyramid on the back of a one dollar bill.

Though you could be on the right track.
0 Guest
<3 the weird progression from short to long and back. Didn't even realize it was the Fibonacci sequence 'till DD pointed it out (well, almost the sequence... should go 1,1,2,3,5,8,13 rather than 1,1,2,3,5,7,8). Math? Patterns? Phi? You got the idea The Fibonacci sequence Am I missing something? I see 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,8,5,3,2,1,

I see 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,8,5,3,2,1,1 I think DN may have been counting words instead of syllables. I also propose that poems using this structure be referred to as Fibonacci Haikus
