Question

My Spanish teacher gave us some questions that we have to be able to ask in Spanish, and I'm not sure about a few of them.

Ask someone what is on the test tomorrow.

Is "Que esta en el examen manana?" (with accents and tilde) be right?

Ask the teacher to write a word on the board.

How do you say board in Spanish?

Would "Escriba la palabra en 'the board', por favor." be right?

Or "Escribe la palabra en 'the board'?"?

Also, is this sentence correct:

No hice mi tarea porque me olvido(accent on the o).

This is due tomorrow.

Thanks for your help. :)

I don't understand this question very well but your translation is very good. A more accurate (in spanish) question would be "What will there be in the test tomorrow?", which you could translate to something like "¿Que habrá (<<---future) en el examen mañana?"

Ask the teacher to write a word on the board.

How do you say board in Spanish?

Would "Escriba la palabra en 'the board', por favor." be right?

Or "Escribe la palabra en 'the board'?"?

You nailed it here... board is "pizarra", so you just throw that in your sentence and you're good to go.

It would end up something like: "Escriba la palabra casa (<<--this is the word house) en la pizarra."

Also, is this sentence correct:

No hice mi tarea porque me olvido(accent on the o).

Almost... You're missing a tiny word (compliment).

"No hice mi tarea" is great, this part is Ok.

"porque me olvidó" would be the wrong part, you see this has no meaning if translated just like that.

In order for it to be good you need to add a word that indicates that you're talking about yourself (in this case), and that word would be "se". So the correct way of spelling the whole sentence would be: "No hice mi tarea porque se me olvidó".

Hope I could help and let me know if you understood what I tried to say... Good luck!
