A mystery, a necessity, a marvel to some Big or small, however they come Going and coming and going again Meet in the middle to end or begin How they are set in their ways of motion, An ebb and flow as of an ocean, Disrupt the violence underneath And lose current, a flow, a race beneath. I think that is an interesting line of thought though. I'll post some hints after a while, if no one gets it. I go by Sam, by the way. Destroy this competition, destroy the violence, and then progress stops, evolution halts. Thinking about my guess of flames... stars? Fits the "going and coming" perfectly (every year seeing different stars in different parts of the sky), and maybe violence is a reference to stars' composition (nuclear reactions! Boom!
