Remember one of the rules that many Braindenners have repeatedly verified: what seems easy to the riddler is tough to the riddle-ee & vice versa. ...but I'd say student loans. Bleargh. They who cared for us, and raised us from the seeds, left behind the message of selfishness and greed. Based on lines 2 (toll) and 3 (seeds) I'd guess George Washington (GW Bridge is a toll bridge and the whole cherry tree thing) but I'm not sure how the last line works. 0 Guest
not what I meant by line 2, but it it in fact GW-can any one explain line 2&4? Line 2: you use quarters to pay at a toll booth; Line 4: He didn't leave after him a message of selfishness and greed, but instead left it in the past when forming the new country, as in abandoning the kingship and aristocracy's selfishness and greed

0 Guest
LOL!!! maybe I should reword the last line... Not necessarily. It's just hard to look at him in that light, as we have always been taught otherwise. That might be the problem. What's taught in school and truth don't always intersect.
