0 Guest
The Messiah (See also Resurrection) Also known as buzzards, a messiah is an individual who resurrects topics by virtue of the sacred words: lol, ditto, ☺, etc. Messiahs have also been known to call upon the lost soul of Echo to copy what countless people before them have already said. Controversy It is the belief of many people that messiahs should be banned from the forum. They believe that their religious rites are an act of religious favoritism and a violation of their freedom of religion. They also argue that these constant resurrections do not allow closure after a puzzle has been solved. Above all, they say, these posts are a waste of space, and raise storage requirements. Like the Jews of ancient times, they would like these people to be nailed to the cross and crucified. Motives There are many reasons people will discard his wealthful reputation to become a humble follower of the sacred rite. For some, there is a feeling of duty, and lethargy. They are too lazy to read all five pages so they post the answer just in case it isn’t already there. Others are in it for more selfish reasons, such as raising there experience status. Mythology Cults within Brainden tell the story of Ogarth, the final messiah. According to legend, in the last days of Brainden, a new member wil be welcomed to the magical land of Braindenzia. He will post many new topics, only to have them unanswered, or to be told that they were already on the forum. In rage, he will create a separate account and clutter up the moderators inboxes. He will then unleash his chaos upon the forum; Resurecting every topic ever made, making zombie threads, adorning every category with those horrible words: “THE END IS NEAR”. Then the great and only son of Adam shall smite the beast with his mighty fingers, and the great Ogarth shall be no more.
