On an island there are only two tribes, the whitefeet, who always tell the truth, and the blackfeet, who always lie. There is no way of telling wheither someone is blackfoot or whtiefoot. On this island there is a cave with two entrances one leads to death and the other leads to immortal life. At the entrances stands a man. You are only allowed one question, what will you ask the man to find out which entrance to use.

"What would you say if I asked you where this entrance leads?"

If it was a Whitefoot, he would answer truthfully. If it was a Blackfoot, he would be forced to tell the truth about the entrance because he would have to lie about his asnwer to the question "Where does this lead?"
