0 Guest
I liked it, I just hated how you had to listen to the guy for like 2 minutes if you lose.

Luck or otherwise, I won first time, so yes, it is winnable. Gameplay: Me: removed 4 of the pearls in the row of 5. Him: Removed 2 pearls from row of 4. Me: Removed remaining 2 pearls from row of 4. Him: Removed 1 from row of 3 Me: Removed remaining 2 from row of 3. d-
0 Guest
the game in the flash is called nim, and there is a general algorithm for winning no matter how many pearls and rows you start with. convert every row to a binary number. then add the number of 1's vertically. if you get an odd number in that column, that column needs to be changed. remove pearls such that every column adds up to an even number. exe. lets say you had five rows. first row = 7, second row = 8, third row = 11, fourth row = 15, and fifth row = 18. in binary, that would be... 00111 01000 01011 01111 10010 ----- 13243 01011 needed. so you need to remove from the bottom row 5 pearls. 0 Guest
Luck or otherwise, I won first time, so yes, it is winnable. Gameplay: Me: removed 4 of the pearls in the row of 5. Him: Removed 2 pearls from row of 4. Me: Removed remaining 2 pearls from row of 4. Him: Removed 1 from row of 3 Me: Removed remaining 2 from row of 3. d- I tried that, and wow, he is an idiot. He could have removed the whole row of 3 and won, but he only removed 1!
0 Guest
I just played a few times until I got the hang of "losing points", as in if you get stuck with two equal rows, you lose, and if you get stuck with 1 pearl in one row and 2 in another and 3 in another, you also lose, so by that logic (with the game starting with 3 rows 3 4 5 pearls in each) I checked and turns out you cannot remove anything from the 4 or 5 rows, and from the 3 row you can only remove 2 from the row of 3, then he'll lose for sure cause whatever he does you can trap him either in the 3 2 1 combo or two equal rows combo...
