Listen....What do you hear?
It was a shot heard 'round the world,
A crow that's caw-ing too.
The tick-tock of your wristwatch,
And the time you went achoo!
I thought this was American,
Maybe something we just did.
So I took a trip around the world,
Finding out this, kid.
In Germany kikeriki,
And yet in Greece kirkiriku.
And when I got back to the States,
I heard a cocka-doodle-do.
In Portugal splish-splash and smac,
In China it was boh...
In Persia it was close to ours,
just mua instead of muah.
I traveled to Estonia
heard the krooks krooks of a frog.
Along with other animals,
like the auh auh of their dog.
I hope I'm giving you the hints
to help you solve this riddle now.
Oh what the heck, just one more,
In Telugu daahm, but here ka-pow!
WAI?
