0 Guest
Market=store? Going up/down=elevator? Wall Street Journal?[/spoiler'] You had it already Fileobrother, so the first MAJOR CLUE Stock Now pick another part of the riddle to work on, or we can stay with the title, if you know the clue above as you now do, what does "fence street" associate but is wrong in one obvious part? 0 Guest
As this one seems to have your stumped I offer to divide the clues into three batches you should be considering together to get the answer. No clues after this, I truly hope someone will guess it. 1. I play at the market Going up and down Part of me all want X Street (one half of riddle title belongs in this group) 2. (one) Part's not for all ground I'm guessing with your lifestyle I wouldn't mesh so well - It's not who you are, it is where you dwell Fence X (one half of riddle title belongs in this group of clues) 3. (additional clues) I am often on the shelf, that thing is for certain As when you start to play with things, it always ends in curtains. 0 Guest
It is "Wall Street" No The title of the post would make you think of this right away, that's a good thing, but then you need to wander why I chose "fence" instead of "wall"?

0 Guest
I can't put this thing together. My brain must be fried on account of it being morning and being at work. Everything I named earlier had something to do with the great outdoors I suppose. With that said, I keep coming back to a rooster or alarm clock for some reason. 0 Guest
Hi guys, sorry I had to disappear for a while. No answer yet. It is not slaughterhouse. Again I think you are all so very close but are somehow not connecting correctly the clues in the riddle.

(death) you are making all the right associations but missing some like Market, going up or down on the market, (Fence) Street? You know by now that you are looking for a two-part work, very simple one, that connects all these clues

0 Guest
a slaughterhouse I feel I need to say this was a great guess. But the answer fits much better. And you are soooooo close. You are giving me words that all share something in common with the answer.
0 Guest
Ok, another push in the right direction, I hope So far, if you were to read through all the posts, you will see that they are two groups that have been making the right guesses but both found only one part of the answer. No one has yet combined the two sets of clues except Gubdude with a great guess but no answer. One group keeps guessing: money, price, property, wall street journal, wall street, location location location The other group keeps guessing: animals, farm, fenced in, slaughterhouse Can anyone give me an answer that connects these two groups? Question
Guest
I play at the market
Going up and down
Part of me all want
Part's not for all ground
I'm guessing with your lifestyle
I wouldn't mesh so well -
It's not who you are, it is where you dwell
I am often on the shelf, that thing is for certain
As when you start to play with things, it always ends in curtains.
