He was trampled in the woods by a rather large "sorn". Please do not do anything rash, as the high king is in town, and you are still responsible for your mark. I am told your dear uncle, Screwball, or something of the sort, is coming to visit in order to perform a toast and, of course console you. The "high king" in this book, I believe, is the devil, though it has been a long time since I've read the book.
