0 Guest Posted April 29, 2009 Report Share Posted April 29, 2009 A postmark?! Those great of our time - Presidents Left my mark upon them - the stamp Fear - Opening a postmarked letter that is not address to you is a crime No rest - must be delivered (rain, sleet or snow) Won't be placed with the brightest and the best - marked stamps are generally not collectible Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
0 Guest Posted April 29, 2009 Report Share Posted April 29, 2009 Thank you palmerc7 re your guess - see what you're thinking but no would not really have them under the feet or leave a "mark on them", and clear on not best but why would we not consider it "the brightest"? people walking on the roof/catwalk and kids drawing all over them, no bid deal! Question
Guest
Those who are greatest of our time
I placed beneath my feet
I've left my mark upon them freely
Yet thought it no great feat
Still I hold fear, in me ingrained, that allows no rest;
Society will never place me
With brightest and the best
