Thats 4+12+8, which is 24 ... :(

(4+2)*6+8 which works

The first one I came up with independently, but I got the idea for the second answer from an earlier post (It's pretty obvious which one.).

(6/2 + 8) x 4 = 44 or

2 x 6 + 4 x 8 = 44

I came up with another!!! I think a better puzzle would be to ask how many solutions there are to this puzzle! lol.

(6 * 8) - 2 - √4 = 44 (could also be + √4 if using the negative root)
