One day a lost sailor anchored on the kings land and hopped off his boat. the guards quickly brought him away to the king. The king explained the conditions of his death and asked him to speak his final sentence. the sailor thought a minute and laughed. He told the sentence for everyone to hear, but when the king went to kill him at a statue he found it could not be done. What did the sailor say?

2. state a demand - Allow me to call my attorney.

I only meant that since he "hopped off the boat" perhaps he had no feet to begin with, thus nullifying the letter of the law. The answer was mostly tongue-in-cheek
