Person. He is Tarkin and by killing him we are guaranteed to win tonight!” It was the logical conclusion and in a matter of moments an overwhelming majority vote was for the Death Star’s captain. “So be it. I have done my duty for the empire, and I can guarantee to you, we shall rise again! Curse you R2D2, if you we not here, we would have won last night.” The little robot buzzed and beeped, and with a spin of his head, sped towards the captain, injecting him with some unfamiliar lethal substance rendering him dead on the floor... 1. Nearly Jabba the hut could be seen hurtling across the galaxies looking for Reaymond. “I’ve won, I’ve won” he was shouting “I have everybody’s roles!” Maybe the shouting was too loud, or maybe he was just unlucky, but in an X-Wing plane, right behind him appeared Luke Skywalker. “Oi, Fatty!” yelled Luke “Drive in a straight line so I can blow you to smithereens!” The huge creature was no match for Luke and sooner or later the experienced Jedi locked in on the huge plane in front of him. A quick press of the red button of his steering wheel, and a huge flame ball was in front of him – Jabba the Hut burning inside. “I really do doubt that you’ve won Jabba... unless your wincon was to die, you’ve lost!” Luke began to turn round, but a quick glance in his mirror showed Darth Vader’s ship flying straight at him, with the missiles beginning to load and fire. Luke took a sharp downward turn, deciding it was better to fight Vader on the group, as opposed to in a plane where anything could happen. Darth Vader had thought the same thing, deciding to rely on his skills, rather than the malfunction of somebody’s plane. The pair landed side by side, and paced around in a circle, neither blinking (not that we know when Vader is blinking, but Luke definitely wasn’t ). Vader was first to strike, a quick trick he had learnt off Palpatine whilst he was still alive, and Luke had a blast of electricity shooting towards him. Luke dived to the ground, and dropped his lightsaber in the process, feeling the crackle of the lightning just a few millimetres above his head. He rolled to his left trying to grab his lightsaber which was rolling away, but he was too late. A sharp blast of pain shot down his arm, and when he looked, he saw a red lightsaber in the gap between his hand and his arm. Darth Vader had cut his hand off! Luke rolled the other way, and with a swift leap, bounded under Darth Vader and grabbed his lightsaber before he could react. Luke knew he had no chance of igniting the weapon before Vader came down with another strike, so took the only available option and smashed the handle down into the top of Vader’s skull. The half man, half machine dropped to the floor, unconscious. Luke thought it best to leave him there rather than risk having him wake up whilst he was flying back to greet the others. 1. DMS 2.
