Question

Here is another riddle, sorry if it has been posted before, I have checked and not found it on the forum.

There are twenty ears of corn in a hollow stump.

A squirrel takes out 3 ears each day.

How many days would it take for the squirrel to take all twenty ears of corn?

edit - Though my understanding of Indian squirels is that they prefer network cables

Each day she takes two ears in and three ears out!

You are getting close to the answer, but the last line states:

How many days would it take for the squirrel to take all twenty ears of corn?

You are getting close to the answer, but the last line states:

Well, by everyone's calculations so far...

It would take the squirrel 20 days to take out all 20 ears of corn. The other two ears each day being the ears attached to the squirrel's own head.
