OK, welcome and thanks for playing this game 'The Oddest Out'

Allow me to repost the rules here.

Minimum 10 players will make this game start. In every round, we will post 8 questions asking about the word you think it could be.

For example “What is the 2 letters word that end with ‘t’?”, and the question format will be like ‘*t’.

Submit your answer by PM us. Your answer can be either ‘it’ or ‘at’ or any word as long as it can be accepted and can be found in dictionary.

After everyone PM us, we will start calculate your score based on the Common Answer method.

The 3 lowest scorers will enter the Elimination Decision Circle (EDC). They will be given another chance to change 3 out of 8 of their questions. This change may affect the scores of all participants. By that time, the lowest scorer will be eliminated from the competition. So if they luckily choose the right question and change to the right answer, they will be saved by kicking someone else out.

Then we will proceed to another round by asking another 8 questions. This format goes on until we left 7 participants. By that time, we will get the 2 lowest scorers enter the EDC.

When we have 4 participants left, only the last lowest scorer get into the EDC.

When left only 2 participants, which is the final round, the rules will be slightly different.

Remember the first 8 participants that have been eliminated from the game? When each of them been eliminated, they will be asked a set of 8 questions. So when we enter to the final round, the remaining 2 participants will answer the same question sets that we questioned other 8 participants when they were out.

Remember: They are out because they are the oddest! So, between the last 2 participant, whoever has MORE question similar to the other 8 or score HIGHER will LOSE the game. This is because you are approaching to the odds than the commons.

Because we have 14 participants, we will start from:

If there are 11 to 15 players, 4 will enter the EDC and 2 will be out!
If left 8 to 10 players, 3 will enter the EDC and 1 will be out!
If left 5 to 7 players, 2 will enter the EDC and 1 will be out!
If left 3-4 players, 1 will enter the EDC and 1 will be out!
The last 2 will enter the final round as per mentioned above.

You are right, so far there is no one having the same marks in round 1.

Oh gosh, that nearly melted my brain I had a hard time finding words that fit the description, so just imagine how hard it was for me to find words that other people would say as well...

I'm with you, I couldn't think of anything! I even asked my mom, she gave me some weird word I'd never heard of...figured that WOULD be the oddest out

There are lots of 6-letters words end with 'lt' , you will shout when you see them. (No, this is not a hint! Just the expression that "How could I never thought of this?!!")

I also had problems with the word ending in lt. I ended up with a brand name that I'm not sure sell in US!!

Then I think it comes down to who's lists have the most different words

Ok, I will post the results as taliesin always does. To be easy for everyone to understand, below will be the procedure/steps.

1) We post the questions.

2) You PM me your answers

3) We post the result, and highlight those who enter the EDC (Elimination Dicission Circle)

4) The participants who enter EDC, feel free to change 3 out of your 8 answers.

5) We will re-calculate the points. Hopefully your changes will make your marks higher, or pull others participants' mark lower.

6) Then, the finalized results will be post again, and then does who the lowest points(For round 1, should be 2 person) will be eliminated from this game.

Which means, those who thought they are safe from entering EDC will also has the risk to be eliminated and is straight away without entering EDC anymore.

7) Then we move to next round, and so on.

No, those who enter EDC are not suppost to have discussion.

Ah I see! I had spelled wrongly the D-word. I mean Elimination Decision Circle, which is the circle where your answer decide who will be out. So of coarse you cannot discuss with others.

Yes! That's why we name it EDC instead of EC (Elimination Circle).

I am yet received all the answers from participants! I will estimate the result will be out by another 20 hours.

I think it's a bit unfair that people get to discuss answers because if someone posts what they answered and other people read it, then they will most likely answer the same thing, so the first people to send in their answers are at a disadvantage.

If you tell other player what you are answering to the question, it ruins the results, and give an unfair advantage over the other players. So please refraim from discussing answers to after the results have been eleminated.

I totally agree and next time if anyone reveals a single answer should be automatically eliminated out of the game!!!
