Question

Hey I did this really cool project in my Comp Sci class last year for Portal and I wanted to see what people thought about it. If you haven't heard of portal, you might as well either end your life or go play it before watching the video, cause you won't understand anything.

Check it out:

Looks cool. So did you actually build that along with programming it?

Yea I did. I probably could have spent some more time on it, making the duct tape more smooth and all. I built it out of mostly household objects: An aquapod water bottle, white and silver duct tape, a pair of sunglass legs, a pen. lol

The hardest part was using the Java GUI capabilities to "draw" the widget. It took a really long time but that's my favorite part of it now.

Oof...yeah, that would be incredibly difficult to draw in Java. From what I could see it looked really good though. Nice work! :D

What is a portal anyways...??

It's like a wormhole(sorta). You should check out Portal, it's really awesome.
