0 Guest
Focus on italic and bold letters (if I tell you the country it's too easy) heh they kinda look like lava trees, how the lava trees are formed is lava flows over a particular area, covering the tree. the tree burns and dies and leaves the "lava tree" not sure its right but...an interesting fact none the less. one of the places found are in hawaii although this doesnt look like its taken in hawaii. edit for photo Edited September 24, 2008 by solemnraven

However these are pine trees (thanks! I didn't know that about lava trees) HINT they were created in a much catastrophic manner than the lava trees and they are unique!!! 0 andromeda
the results of one of the gigantic meteorites that hit Siberia in the last 100 years? YES!!! Now try to guess the exact name of the photo! BTWit's still uncertain if that object hit the ground (I read in a book that the object exploded 8 km above the ground and it's still inconclusive what that object was exactly!!!) Yeah, and it was exactly 100 years ago the whitebark pine trees I saw by Crater Lake. Similar but no! Nice thinking, both of you!!! 0 Guest
Now try to guess the exact name of the photo! Lake Cheko region where the Tunguska event took place? Wikipedia suggests so! Edit: nvm, you want the exact google search term that would pull up that image! 0 Guest
I had never even heard of them.. I might do some read up about it if I run out of work to do! They're actually kind of new to me too... It's kind of interesting though that there are many theories about the explosion... One of them even said that it was a Tesla experiment that went wrong. So many "lucky" incidents make people think it was not a meteor... Who knows??? It would be cool to find out though! Nice one BTW!!!
