1. 13,212

2. It was 12:34 at 5-6-78 (1-8)...At 2:34 of the same date, you would have 1-9 (just not in full numerical order, which is more frequent of an occurrence)

3. -------------------------------

4. All 12

5. Co-Ed Hockey Team

6. -------------------------------

7. 6 Sextillion Tons--all the building materials would come from the Earth so no change in weight

8. ------------------------------

9. Volume Nine

10. Nearly all 500 of them

LOL--not using a spoiler because it's not a serious guess, but in the corrected form, my guess for #8 would be: A Divorce Settlement ;)

That fits the question though, there is another one too ( if you feel like straining your brain)

They have to plan for worst case scenario...if every player placing a bet at any given time was to win, they'd have to be able to pay out.

Not quite, almost close though.. keep trying

No. 3

Or do you mean steaks at the all you can eat buffet?

Gamblers would keep doubling their stake until they won. So no matter how much they lost they could eventually win it all back with one huge win.

This assumes that people have unlimited money. I'm sure casinos would love to have limitless betting for those players willing to walk in and try this strategy.

This answer seems like it would make the most sense so far, but some people may want everything...

And both of the "Stakes" answers seemed right, so I have no clue what that one is--does it have a trick to it (i.e. with the wording) or is it a logical business answer?

One player scored 3 goals, since no player scored a (singular) goal, this means that 3 players can't score 1 goal each, nor can 1 player score 2 goals (because another would score only 1 goal)

Number six:

The thick glass will crack since there will be a large temperature gradient between the outer cold wall and inner hot wall.

The thin wall will reach equilibrium faster.
