Question

There is a light bulb in the center of a blank room in which there is no other variables. Over a 30 second time period, the light turns either on or off every half of the remaining time, based on the opposite of its current state. There is no delay in which the light is turned on and when the light actually turns on. The light starts on. What will it be when it finishes?

broken - is that off

technically it will be emitting particles at the speed of light, so will appear to be on all the time while it is infinitely flickering (half to infinity) - but the cable also carries a delay - is that left out for a reason???

What do you mean:

"it finishes"?

Do you mean finishes flickering, or finishes light?

The latter seems to be grammatically incorrect.

Alright, let me clarify.

When the time runs out.

There is a light bulb in the center of a blank room in which there is no other variables. Over a 30 second time period, the light turns either on or off every half of the remaining time, based on the opposite of its current state. There are no delays in this problem, assume the speed of light/electricity is instantaneous. The light starts on. Will the light be on or off when the 30 seconds runs out?
