Doesn't work in Australia cos we say day/month/year...very peculiar why America puts the month first..? Why is it so B))

Don't know for sure, but if you look at a calendar, the first thing you notice is the month rather than the day. *shrug* Just my thought on why us Americans decided to stray from the rest of the world... ;)

So when we send an invitation perhaps we should put the country first, then area, post code etc

On that thought... In Singapore (and some other countries in Asia) - addresses on envelopes are written:

LAST NAME - First Name

Street Name then Number

Apartment Number (if relevent) and then

Postcode

Whereas, in Australia, I know, we put:

First Name, Last Name

Apartment Number/Street Number and Street Name

Suburb and Postcode

so just some random information
