I see a problem here.

If not mistaken each box can only been filled 1 - 9 and can't be repeated within the section. (Please tell me if I am mistaken on this.)

1) Now look at the top part of column 5 from the leftmost: It said 2 boxes add up together to become 17.

The only combination is: 9 or 8 either one in a box.

2) But then look at the row 2 from top, at the left most, the total for the 6 boxes should give us total of 21. The only combination to get 21 from 6 numbers (1 to 9) is only 1+2+3+4+5+6 = 21.

That's mean the intersection box has conflicts. (1) suggest it should be either 8 or 9 but (2) said it can't go beyond 6!

Am I wrong in somewhere?

what if you dont do the 17 can you get an answer for multiplying all the red circles

You must fill in each empty square with a digits from 1-9 such that the vertical sums of the digits match the number above the column, and the horizontal sums match the numbers to the left of the row. No digit will be used more than once in a set. Once you figure out the digits, multiply all of the digits in the circled squares to get your answer.

What number will you get when you multiply the circled digits? Please submit only a single number as your answer; do not submit ANY information other than the answer. Otherwise, your submission may be disqualified.

they didnt answer me yet i'll let you know if they do ill post

We can only get to know where will the figures go into the red circles if we can fill all the number and meet those criteria. The answer that you want is actually the bi-product from solving the whole quiz.

Anyway, will try and see whether can get it right or not
