Question

Sorry, but this kinda bothers me. A topic becomes hot at 15 posts. I think that that number should be raised. 15 posts isn't enough to consider a topic popular in my opinion.

I've never really understood how it works, so I'm curious. A topic becomes "hot" at 15 posts, but I'm assuming that's within a certain time period, right? I've always figured that "hotness" was a measure of the frequency of posting, so it would make sense to me that 15 posts in 4 hours would be hotter than 30 posts in 2 days. Can you clarify how this works?

some posts are only remarks and some remark that their previous post is wrong instead of editing,

personally don't often look at topics temperature, it's quality over quantity - you don't know till you look!

no time period set (and can not be set)
