0 Guest Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 I think he means that it is so blasted expensive to cut an album that he had to hock all of his stuff to pay for it THAT, OR... making a living as a musician is tough. it can be difficult to make ends meet - so he's had to sell off all of his possesions just to eat. the "starving artist" syndrome, if you will.
