2. Something about he's been blind but just had an operation to correct it. The train went through a tunnel, so he thought he was blind again and would've killed himself, but someone lit a cigarette, so he knew he wasn't blind.

3. Blind tightrope walker with no net. The person playing music knows when to stop the music, which is after the tightrope walker is safely on the platform. But that person is out sick, so the person playing the music stops it too early.

I agree with the first two. I think for # three it was dramatic opera and she died of athema or heart attack or something.
