Looking at the plan view, it is one solid figure does by using simple extrude command in autocad it show me the object in 3d. I could not find a view that matches your "front view". The reason being is if your front view was to show the cut out, it wouldn't show it like that but as 3 seperate boxes. The other views (except for reverse of plan) would show either 3 seperate boxes (back) or 2 seperate boxes (sides) Hope you don't loose sleep, a friend of mine got it in a minute, but it was her job - posted anyway cos it works from old school (pen and pape) CAD works from in the box and can't think, and you are seeing the boxs it produces, you need to make a couple in heavey/bold and see where it may lead?
