TimeSpaceLightForce
You just held up a bank on the corner of 6th & 7th avenue and walked to your get away car but upon entering the car, you've been spotted on the CCTV that alarmed the patrol cars on the 3 corners of the area that is bounded by high walls along the perimeter . If all the vehicles are as fast as each other and all streets and avenues are of same span of one-way roads, where is the best intersection for the get away car to be waiting for you in order to evade the police cars in hot pursuit? 1
0 bgm1961
Assuming the patrol cars begin moving upon seeing the you get into your get away car, then intuitively, it would be either the corner of 7th Ave & 8th Ave, or the corner of 7th Ave & 4th St. But since one could say that if the get away car was parked on the corner of 7th Ave & 8th Ave, then police offciers parked there would simply get out of there patrol car and arrest you on the spot. So the best answer would be 7th Ave & 4th St. This provides the greatest distance from the nearest patrol car (P1) following the one-way arrows. But as this is merely intuition based on a picture, its probably wrong! 1
0 TimeSpaceLightForce
pursuit.jpg A client just encashed a lottery check from the bank at 6th cor.7th avenue and run to your taxi just parked somewhere near an intersection but he have been spotted by a look out who radio the 3 robbers cars on the corners of the area that is limited by walls on all sides. If your vehicle is as fast as the bad guys vehicles and all blocks and paths are of the same span on one-way roads, where is the optimal location for your cab to be waiting for him in order to escape all the Pursuers (P1,P2,P3)? If you started on 4th-7th P2 will get you on 1st-8th or 2nd-4th.
