Guest
There are too many possibilities to be certain why she wasn't breaking any laws. Very vague I have never written that my solution is the only one No, you didn't. And my previous post wasn't meant to be criticism against the original puzzle. Actually, when I wrote this answer, I had not even looked at the spoiler yet... That would have been too simple, huh?
Guest
She could have been a passenger also.
Guest
My possible solutions are that 1, she was walking, 2, she was driving in a parade, 3, she was going in reverse, or 4, she was driving the wrong direction as i n away from fer destination, not incorrectly on the street. Guest
If a little girl breaks the law and there is no police officer around, was the law still broken?
Guest
She was walking.
Guest
she obviously can't be driving because then she would be breaking the law. So logic says that she's walking =]

Guest
If a little girl breaks the law and there is no police officer around, was the law still broken? Yes. Breaking the law does not entail getting caught.
Guest
NO! She was jogging! Or she could have been going across an intersection--technically going the 'wrong way' (perpendicular instead of parallel)
Guest
Maybe a traffic office/ cop directed her down the one way street for some reason. In that way, she doesnt break the rules as teh traffic cop always precedes any road signs/rules.
Guest
this topic has been supposed to death.....i say she was in a shopping cart wearing a bikini eating a snowcone in november. or maybe she was walking.
Guest
If she was walking in the WRONG direction, then it still wasn't breaking the law, but how is there a WRONG direction in walking? Could she just have not been the one driving while moving the wrong direction in the vehicle?
Guest
she was walking lol....i didnt guess it !..
Guest
or she was going in the wrong direction of her destination but the correct way of traffic
Guest
or perhaps she was driving in reverse... that's allowed too on a one-way street You can't drive backwards on a one way street since you're still driving perhaps if she was backing up into a parking space? its still going wrong direction
Guest
She was not driving a car, she was just walking
Guest
She was just learning to drive. And you didnt say that she was driving a car the one way street the wrong way. She was just walking down the one way street.

Guest
Or just maybe she was in the passenger seat therefore not breaking the law herself but the person driving is!!
Guest
I'd like to say that I don't think the question is so good. I don't mean to offense. But I'm just thinking that it will be better, if we transfer the trick to such as, 'A girl who was just learning to DRIVE drove down a one-way street in the wrong direction, but didn't break the law. How come?', and make accordingly the answer be what post #4 says. Indeed, I got the same answer as he did in the first view.
Guest
She was walking, afterall no matter if you just started driving or have for years walking agianest traffic was never a crime.
Guest
This riddle makes no sense whatsoever because the answer was she was walking, but in the riddle, it states she was DRIVING! DUH! Driving and walking are not the same!
Guest
she was walking. the problem never said she was in a car, only that she was learning how to drive!
