0 Molly Mae
Is pushing the cork into the bottle considered "popping" it?
0 Guest
Using some sort of syringe type device would work. Edit- spell fail Edited September 30, 2011 by maurice
0 Guest
1)cut a small hole in the bottle. 2)cut a hole in the cork 3) if the cork doesnt form a perfect seal, boil the water.
0 Guest
Do we know the precise relationship of the two? The cork could be inside the bottle, just floating in the water, in which case all you have to do is turn the bottle over. The cork floats up, the water pours out. Problem solved, right? Similarly, the riddle doesn't say the cork is in contact with the bottle at all, so you could even just turn the bottle over without any regard to the cork if you wanted. Just a thought. 0 Guest
i like molly mae's answer.... i personally thought of boiling the water at first but if the cork is attached to the bottle and acting like a cork should then it prob won't work but if there is some space it could..
