0 Guest
a sea horse? Nice attempt and I see your reasoning but I regret to inform you that you are incorrect. Also, I am pretty sure seahorses swim, not stand

0 Guest
Sorry Yodell but they are both incorrect. I liked the balloon one though Try to think of alternative meanings for the words in the question. For example, can leg relate to more than just the things your feet are attached to? *cough* *cough* Edited May 25, 2011 by mEEster-Michael
0 Guest
lettuce or cabbage And we have a winner! Tell your wife congratulations, I was indeed thinking of a Cabbage Well done Edited May 25, 2011 by mEEster-Michael

0 Guest
An Earthworm? Though an Earthworm and other Annelids do not have any 'leg', the fact that an Earthworm can raise its head above its body may give the appearance of it standing. And, one may claim, though they have no real heart but a heart-like organ in the form of five aortic arches, its location is in what one may say is the head. That is not the answer I was thinking of but it fits so perfectly within the puzzle criterion that I am going to award you an unofficial gold star - Well done to you Sir! The answer I had in mind when posting the puzzle can be found in post #10 if you wish to look at it.
