0 Guest
Unless it is a trick question as answered above, I do not believe there is enough information to determine the time. For example, if a boy and a man can work at the same rate, then the time for 10 men and 3 boys is the same for 10 boys and 3 men (7 days). But if we're to assume that a boy can only do a fraction of the work of a man, or works at a slower rate, it could be anything. There is no indication to the ratio of work done by a boy vs. a man. Plus, if it is a trick question, it should say that 10 men and 3 boys did build the wall in 7 days, not can. 0 Cavenglok
boys never grow up, it wouldn't make any difference. YOU'RE FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OT: Do you mean how long it takes to get 13 boys? Well, it depends. How much older are the men? What's the average age between all the men and all the boys? Is this in a perfect world, where no accidents happens? No offence, but loopholes galore.
0 Guest
This looks like one of those "speed of work" algebraic puzzles, but it doesn't have enough information to solve it. Namely, there is no information on the difference between the speed a man works and the speed a boy works. Ceteris paribus, there should be no difference as 13 people are involved in both cases. I suggest this problem needs some major rewording in iorder to clarify it. without it, the problem is not soluble except in an arbitrary way. 0 Guest
A wall does not have 3 dimensions, it should only have 2. Second, I assume it is a type-o, but the question says, how long would it take 10 BOYS and 3 BOYS to build. The answer is this question is a bad question and the best you can have is a bad answer. 0 Guest
There would be no time to build it because it is already built.
