0 Guest
$120 assuming that there are no price breaks at certain numbers of fruits.
0 Guest
Dallas spent 120 and Daniel 1710[spoiler='Spoiler for Dallas and Daniel ']The difference between Dalton and Dante is 2 apples and 3 bananas and $90 (2A + 3B = 90) The difference between Dallas and Dante is 6 apples and 9 bananas which is 3 times (2A + 3B = 90)(6A + 9B = 270). therefore the difference in their amounts must be 390 - 270 = 120. Dallas spent 120. Daniel is about the same 9M + 23A + 30B = Daniel subtract 9(1M + 1A + 1B = 120). 9 times Dallas = 1080 that leaves 14A + 21B which is 7 times (2A + 3B = 90) = 630 1080 + 630 = 1710 Edited March 10, 2008 by ladydulac

0 bonanova
Subtract Dalton from Dante to get 2A + 3B. Double that and subtract it from Dalton: M + A + B = 120 = Dallas. Multiply Dallas by 9 and 2A + 3B by 7 and add: 9M + 23A + 30B = 1710 = Daniel
