0 Guest
let's say the images in question are: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 then 4 = 3' (90 deg counter clockwise) and 7 = 6' so 10 should be 9' i.e. in order to get 9 we shall try to guess 10 based on 1, 4,
0 k-man
Does this problem have a solution? It's been a while since it was posted and no one offered any reasonable solutions yet. This forum is full of people with IQ in the 99th percentile, yet the problem is still unsolved. Are there any hints that can help solve it? Does the OP have the answer and the explanation? I've tried to identify patterns in the shape arrangements and found some, but nothing that would lead me to any of the given possible answers. The closest I've got to solving it is I've looked at it as projections/slices of a 3-dimensional object and came to several possible outcomes, but none matched any of the given possible answers. I'm giving up... I found it easier to work with when the shapes are replaced with colors, so here is the same puzzle with colors instead of card suits. 0 phaze
Thanks for the following k-man it was a great help If we eliminate the first pattern (top left) the answer would be A Reasoning most of the patterns use as their first two columns a similar pattern as the last two columns of the pattern to their left when the colors are also transposed eg the second row of patterns begins with YBR YBY RRB if we remove the first column BR BY RB and Transpose Blue to Yellow, Yellow to Red and Red to Blue we get YB YR BY which are the two first columns of the next pattern also the next row begins with the same pattern as the ended the last row rotated 90 degrees anti clockwise The only pattern to keep this going is A (it means however I have ignored the first pattern so you may be able to find a better answer)
