As you know,each human cell contains chromosomes(X and Y).

Female cells contains(XX)chromosomes,while male cells(XY).

There are two typs of sperms(X)and(Y) sperms.where as the ovum has only(X) chromosome.

(X)sperm+ovum(X)....will give..(XX)...i.e.Female.

(Y)sperm +ovum (X)....will give..(XY)...i.e Male.

(X) sperms differs from (Y) sperms in their activity!

(Y) sperms are up to 98% active( an average)after ejaculation,then they loss their activity very fast,(about 1.25%)/hour.while (X) sperms have an average activity of 48%,then they loss their activity very slowly( about 0.12%)/ hour.

If two sperms met the ovum ,the one with at least 5% more activity will have more than 90% chance to fertilize it.Any sperm with less than 35% activity,has No chance of fertilization.

My friend has three boys..and he wish to have a girl, his wife has a regular period cycle of(23) days.the last one was at 13th. of Nov. (9.00 p.m.).

the ovulation take place at the (8th) day, and the ovum stays only (4)days.

Can you help my friend in such a way to have a(beautiful !!) girl.

Correct me if I am wrong but if one were to completely deplete all of his stored sperm, that would obviously leave the body to start reproducing more. Considering the loss of energy of the X vs the Y sperm, would it make sense for the body to produce more X sperm before the Y sperm since the X potentially have a longer life? I would assume then that the quicker intercourse and ejaculation occurs after a "manual" ejaculation, you would have a higher chance of fathering a girl. I am just guessing at all of this, I have no idea of how the male body stores/reproduces sperm.

should go for In vitro fertilization or other methods where X and Y chromosomes are separated outside the body from the semen and then the desired chromosome (X) is injected directly into the ovum. this is the only method which gives 100% chance of getting a girl.In nature there is only 50% chance

I'm not sure what answer you're looking for here, but I can throw a wrench in the works for ya.

1)The internal chemistry and several external factors of the male can change the type of sperm that is more prolific. For instance, regular alcohol intake or warmer temps can decrease the # of y sperm.

2)The internal chemistry of the female can affect the life span and motility of the sperm. For instance, an acidic diet can cause the sperm to be less active and die off faster and certain cold medicines can help the sperm swim faster and live longer.

3)Then, there's her cycle to consider. It's such a short one that the egg may not have a chance to mature before the sperm arrive and, thus, no fertilization.

4)Certain positions will lead the speedier swimmers to their destination faster, as well.

At any rate, my knowledge base tells me that intercourse on the 18th and 19th of Dec. will be the best chance of creating a girl.

It could be simply coincidence, however my wife and I chose both of ours perfectly. We chose a girl, and acted accordingly, and got one. Chose boy, acted accordingly, got one. Google it. Some of it seems silly, but it works. For example, as was previously mentioned, higher temperatures can lower the Y count. So, for a girl, sit in a hot bath before hand. There are a lot of different things, if someone wants a girl... google it, they actually do work. Oh- and no caffeine!

The both types are produced equally...but with different activities.

No, dear friend...if you read carefully,you will see that the cycle is regular (each 23 days),the last menstruation was at 13th.of Nov.,so the next one will be at 6th.of Dec.

2. Do not have sex again until after December 18th, 8:00 p.m.

What this creates is a window where there is only the slightest chance of having a boy ... the first hour of ovulation will see the female sperm with a 42.1% activity rate, the male a 36.8% rate. The second hour, 42% to 35.5% (the male chance during this small window is less than 5%). After that, the female sperm has a 47 hour window (without male sperm interference) to impregnate the egg.

I guess, in retrospect, you can even start earlier on 12/12 at 4:00 p.m. to eliminate the small chance for the male.

Your calculation seems good, but you missed the right ovulation time..which should be on Dec. 6th....( as I said,his wife has a regular cycle of 23 days...so from Nov.13th to Dec.6th are 23days).
