somewhere between factoring each polynomial and the step before is wrong. but i see no mistake.

its quite possible to have a 1x1x1 block.

for example: let's say the total volume of the box is 3x3x3.

you could make that box with a 2x3x3, a 1x2x3 , a 1x1x2, and a 1x1x1.

i know its fairly late to answer this, still...

if the earth and the space ship are traveling constant velocity you would be correct.

but generally the rocket accelerates, (at least until its out of the atmosphere) and you can tell when you accelerate.
