  1. The one who has her cards in order is Briana.

The fifth card in the other deck is 2

By shuffling Heather's cards six times, it goes back to the original state.

So by the 2000th shuffle, it will have the same order as what the deck had after the second shuffle.

Edit: I just realized how tiresome my solution is.

  2. I must apologize for the thing about the bananas...

I didn't know those were sold in dozens...And I most certainly did not know that bananas aren't supposed to be placed in paper bags...

Anyway, the right answer was supposed to be the man wearing a thick coat...so if anybody answered incorrectly because of the misunderstanding, I apologize...

  3. When you want to make a building completely robber-proof, there is only one guy to call: Tony Pendragon, the master safe cracker and detective.

When Money Co. called Pendragon and asked him to fix security up in their main bank, he told them about his method. First, he'd rob them. Then, he'd find a way to make it impossible to rob them.

No one in the bank knew when and where Pendragon would strike. But David Luckett, Director of Security at Money Co., was determined to stop him.

"We'll show this know-it-all what security's really about," he told his chief assistant, Aldrich.

"Double the number of guards. I want updates on everyone who comes in, out and near the building."

    "Yes, Sir!"Aldrich said.

    Two weeks passed.

One hot morning, Luckett was going to work, listening to Aldrich rant over his cellphone and wiping the sweat off his brow.

"You think this Pendragon guy is for real?"

"Real or not, we still got to keep on our toes," Luckett said.

To the fruit vendor in front of him, he said, "I'll need a kilo of bananas please."

The vendor put the bananas in a paper bag and waved as Luckett walked away.

"I can't keep our men on red alert forever!" Aldrich shouted as Luckett passed a street mime pretending to hit a wall. Behind him, a man wearing a thick coat was loading glass panes into a van.

"They'll have to if we want to grab this Pendragon guy," Luckett said, a sedan nearly hitting him as he crossed the street. The driver honked at him angrily as he drove away. "Look, I got to get off this phone...I nearly got hit by..." His voice trailed off. Then, he suddenly shouted at his phone, "Aldrich! Get some guards here at once! I think Pendragon is here---and he's planning to rob the bank right now!"

Later, Pendragon was talking to the bank president. "Sir," Pendragon said, "with a security chief good enough to spot me even before I could make a move, your bank has nothing to fear.

WHAT WAS PENDRAGON'S DISGUISE AND WHAT GAVE HIM AWAY?

  4. I don't think that 4 & 5 coins can fit in the puzzle...

It is mentioned that if you take one from the left pocket and put it in the right pocket both pockets would have equal amounts of coins.

Having 4 & 5 coins would not be equal, given the conditions...

    .......I think...

  5. "Hey Greg!" crackled the Police Band. "We got a traffic situation out here...and it looks like the truck was positively ID-ed as the getaway vehicle in last week's Ninja Monkey bank heist."

As the Police officer Greg Jones roared down the highway, he reviewed the facts of the bank heist case. Stealing a record of 1 million Dollars just as the bank was opening, 5 robbers dressed as monkey ninjas had gotten clean away from the Bank, taking the highway heading East and disappearing. Their only clue was a description of the getaway vehicle: a solid black truck with a white racing stripe in the middle----which looked like exactly like the truck Greg's friend, Jack Wilson, was giving a ticket to.

"I caught him running the red light," Jack explained to Greg. "That's when I noticed the racing stripe."

The driver, a big burly brute of a man, was practically snarling. "Just give me the ticket and scram, see? This isn't the truck you're looking for...I was doing deliveries at the time of the robbery! You can check with my boss."

He suddenly paused, scratching his massive chin. "On second thought...while on the highway, I passed a truck that looked exactly like mine, heading the opposite direction. I couldn't see the drivers clearly 'cause the sun was in my eyes, but I did think at the time that their faces looked kinda funny----like they were wearing masks or something. Would that be any help?"

Without looking up from his note-taking, Greg said, "Very much! Now can you please go with us to the station for questioning?"

WHY IS GREG BRINGING THE MAN IN FOR QUESTIONING?

  6. A guy was found dead in his own room in a hotel. The Police noted that they found the body lying on the floor, holding a gun on the right hand, holding a tape recorder on the left hand and with a bullet hole in the temple. A detective came and inspected the body, he took the tape recorder and pressed the Play button. It started with a bit of mumbling sounds, then they heard a voice:

"If somebody is listening to this, then that means I am dead. I had no choice but to take my life. I-I can't take this anymore, I just can't." [gunshot] ---

Silence followed the gunshot and then it stopped.

A Policeman walked towards the door and spoke. "Then that's it. This case is closed."

The detective disagreed and said: "Wait, this is a murder."

WHY WOULD THIS BE A MURDER?
