  1. I'm with BMAD on this one - I believe that there is on omnipotent "creator", some sort of incomprehensible being that created the universe. Simply put, there is really no other way. But I do believe that's where things stop. This "God", for lack of a better world, was the stimuli that began the world. However, I don't think that "It" shaped creatures and all that. Evolution (really, just natural selection over millenia) took its course. This creator probably does not guide us in particular (humans are, at the basic level, animals. And no other animals get divine help). Maybe there's an afterlife, maybe there isn't. But this creator is out there somewhere, doing...God stuff, I guess. Probably off messing around with a world where elephants have wings and civilization and stuff.
  2. Ooh, what's the link? Me and my friends might try our hands at it, and I promise not to open up anything that says "Joe Nobody".
  3. Probably not. A lot of them don't fit with the Odyssey, and I think it's already been shown that the lines have nothing to do with one another. Also, the one about eye damage and ribs fits more with my latest one, though that one wasn't actually a draw...
  4. I can see the latter one now. I think that's the idea - every line refers to a different work with the theme you mentioned.
  5. Wait, that's a burger, not a pizza. Although, it still sorta makes sense, in a way...maybe.
  6. It just makes too much sense.
  7. Aha. Edit: But wait, there's more! Need some help here. I think the hint has gotten the ball rolling.
  8. I am honestly so lost with where this puzzle goes, but I have to point out that: Not sure what to do with that.
  9. Bah, I thought that the clam/oyster thing was it but extensive googling told me that certain clams do, in fact, have pearls but they aren't high in value.
  10. Let's everyone just create a ton of water and float to the top.
  11. I know. I saw the name magic_luver and did a little fist pump. I know you aren't a noob, but recent forum events have made mafia participation...strained. If I'm not mistaken, the 19-player Coup of Rhotus, started in mid-2011, is still in signups.
  12. Hint: Her supplementary rule suggests quite a bit, and a quick search of the ever-handy Google, brought to you by neuro-link suggests that ice melts faster in water than in air of the same temperature. Something to do with the amount of molecules and all the other lark. The point is, I summon 100 cubic liters(or meters, whatever) of water to help melt the ice. Hope y'all can swim.
  13. Seems a tad large for a newbie mafia, but if it works, who am I to judge?

If more that enough people want to play or we don't have enough sensei-people, I'll switch to mentor and impart my limited knowledge to the grasshoppers.
  15. Excellent game Y-San. Have to admit, Shad played the ideal Indy and should have won. As for us Baddies KoP made a lot of calls that were almost psychically on the mark, and by some incredible turn of events he and Panther forced a situation where there was, in essence, no lynch. (Might want to fix the balance on that lynch switch, Y-San) As for my death... vomm's lucky spy and Mike's incredible jump-the-gun kill attempt was just unfortunate. But all's well that ends well, congrats to my baddie friends and thanks Y-San for an awesome death post as well as a hearty thanks to all players for an interesting and fun game.
  16. No, I cannot (do I win?)
