1 - search feature in forum is limited to a minimum of 3 characters ... however, I recommend using the search box from the non-forum pages (eg. the home page - BrainDen.com) - the top right hand corner ... that search (on non-forum pages, but searching forum pages as well - everything on this domain) is done by Google and has no minimum characters limits 2 - the same ... use search box on static (non-forum) pages - google will do the job

  17. 1 letter shall be 1 unique number ... so, for instance, FA can not be just 1 number (9) - it has to be 2 numbers (1 for F and 1 for A)
  18. as per your data, total average speed should be total distance/total time ... so 60km/1.3333h ... which is 45km/h ... which is not the requested 60 km/h
  19. this topic has many pages and the last posts might lack attention ... starting new topic (in "Others") should ensure more attention to the new posts
  20. start a new topic in section "Others" for that

this is one of my favorites ... it is also the most repeated puzzle on this forum - still coming in new variations (stories) ... long discussion can be found in the thread entitled Honestants and Swindlecants III. looking forward to new puzzles ... this topic is locked
  22. what about a difference of 12 ... is it 1+4+7 or 2+3+7?
  23. the basic idea is already posted in a puzzle called 10-digit Number ... however, this jigsaw kind of story is so nice that I kept this thread open
