Welcome to the Den, ebony. This is one of my favorites. It is also the most repeated puzzle on this forum - still coming in new variations (stories) ... long discussion can be found in the thread entitled Honestants and Swindlecants III. Check out the rules for this forum (link at the top) = Important: READ BEFORE POSTING - especially the part on doing a search before you post a puzzle. the OP is not able to move threads ... the moderators would have to move each and every solved thread manually ... if you are willing to do that (for all +1000 old threads and for each new solved thread coming every day), then pm me and martini both "Brain Teasers" 2nd tab and "Puzzles and Riddles" gadgets include javascript showing random puzzle from a hand-picked collection of year 2007 puzzles (278 puzzles) the first gadget includes also RSS feed showing the latest puzzles I could try to replace the javascript showing random, old, quality puzzles with the latest puzzle (no quality assured)

I have moved just 1 matchstick in each solution ... I will use 1 color for the moved matchstick for each of the 3 possible solutions puzzle: XI - V = IV solution 1: X - VI = IV (from XI - V = IV) solution 2: XI - V = VI (from XI - V = IV) solution 3: XI - VI = V (from XI - V = IV) I advise you post at least 1 puzzle in "new puzzles" section, otherwise your account will be locked

you can try to use a program that will film your monitor (the game you play) then upload the video to youtube then provide a link here

I agree - I allowed games leading to clear end (eg. a winner), not going on forever, with added value (eg. including brain teasers, strategic thinking etc.) ... as soon as I see that the game is just about post count I will lock it no use blaming Martini ... I set the rules ... blame me (btw, your posts are just minority of all deleted posts) I am sure itachi-san got the point when we will interfere

sunshipballoons, I have counted 44 posts written by you but no topic - so ZERO puzzles you submitted ... pls could you submit at least 1 brain teaser to "New Puzzles" section so that we have an idea what satisfies your conditions for a good puzzle I am quite curious

1. you can post clear puzzles with clear answers 2. you can rate 5-star puzzles with 1-star and decrease the rating
