she was driving at a time when the street was allowed to have a two way traffic.
This seldom happens on streets that have heavy traffic in morning hours, but they are allowed as two way in Off Load hours (like in night)!!!

fair point aniketkno about the not breaking laws part but what if she didn't park her car, or she was with a friend who was towing her car because it broke down or something?

That doesn't make much sense because unless she was running faster than the bus, toward the end of the bus she would still be traveling in the direction of the bus.She could be on a bus, walking towards the back while the bus faces the correct direction on the one way street.
