She was just learning to drive. And you didnt say that she was driving a car the one way street the wrong way.

she was learning how to drive in a {insert service vehicle hear}

All it said was that it was a one way street, it never said that she was going the wrong way

Or just maybe she was in the passenger seat therefore not breaking the law herself but the person driving is!!

I'd like to say that I don't think the question is so good. I don't mean to offense. But I'm just thinking that it will be better, if we transfer the trick to such as, 'A girl who was just learning to DRIVE drove down a one-way street in the wrong direction, but didn't break the law. How come?', and make accordingly the answer be what post #4 says. Indeed, I got the same answer as he did in the first view.

She was walking, afterall no matter if you just started driving or have for years walking agianest traffic was never a crime.

This riddle makes no sense whatsoever because the answer was she was walking, but in the riddle, it states she was DRIVING! DUH! Driving and walking are not the same!
