Guest
In the SE side, where I used to live, People usually had more room to give, But, in the NE side, Where I now reside, During the riots of ’92, NE was scarier, with drivebys too. From a year ago, something we found, Good old memories, just lying around. We tried one out, and were quite surprised, The sound of our actions, were unrealized. Just, today, what would you know, Looking over our fence, too low. Our ancient neighbor feels the need, To give it to me in word and deed. “Did you see them, did you hear? Last night, the neighborhood, was all ears I’ve got pictures of every one. Goodness, it scared us, and sounded like a gun. You’ll be fined, not in the city.” Of course, I knew, but we weren’t prepared, To have the entire neighborhood scared. We felt bad, but now it’s too late, What did we find, for a big mess to create? 0 Guest
wow. this will be hard considering I wasn't even born in 1992. Oh, that doesn't mean much. You guys are that young? '92 were just the Rodney King incident, and the streets were rioting all over the country. It was a time of many gangs, drivebys and the like. That's all that means. So, NE is the side of town with more "history."

In the SE side, where I used to live,
People usually had more room to give,
But, in the NE side,
Where I now reside,
During the riots of ’92,
NE was scarier, with drivebys too.
From a year ago, something we found,
Good old memories, just lying around.
We tried one out, and were quite surprised,
The sound of our actions, were unrealized.
Just, today, what would you know,
Looking over our fence, too low.
Our ancient neighbor feels the need,
To give it to me in word and deed.
“Did you see them, did you hear?
Last night, the neighborhood, was all ears
I’ve got pictures of every one.
Goodness, it scared us, and sounded like a gun.
You’ll be fined, not in the city.”
Of course, I knew, but we weren’t prepared,
To have the entire neighborhood scared.
We felt bad, but now it’s too late,
What did we find, for a big mess to create?
