Question

You are trapped in a room. The only exits are two doors. There are no windows or any other way out other than the two doors. One of these doors leads to freedom and the other leads to death. You do not know which is which. The doors are guarded by identical twins, one is guarding each. One twin always lies and one always tells the truth. You do not know which is which, or who is guarding what door. You are allowed to ask one twin one question (not one question for each twin, one question total) so that you can choose the freedom door. What question do you ask so that you are sure you are going through the freedom door?

Hey you, what would the other guy say, if I asked him where this door leads?“ The answer is always negated.

If you ask the truthteller what the other guy would say is the freedom door, he would tell the truth and tell you that the other guy would lie and tell you the "death" door. If you ask the liar what the other guy would say, he'd lie and tell you the "death" door. Both people will give you the same answer, the wrong one. Therefore do the opposite.

Welcome to the Den, idkgirl. This is one of the most famous puzzles and that's why it is already posted. It is actually one of the most repeated puzzles in this forum. This was posted more than 20 times if I count correctly and it was posted a few hours ago by adiace as well. If you like this type then you might want to check a few similar logic problems.

Reading "Important: READ BEFORE POSTING" (the link is at the top as well) might help you to do a quick search before you post a puzzle that you have not created.

Enjoy the Den ;)
