Question

You're weird. Your absolute favorite band is Europe. They are known for their amazing hit, "The Final Countdown." You look around your car and can't find your cd... then you find the note under your windshield wiper...

If you want your Swedish rock back,

You'll be looking at a nearby track.

HAHAHAHAHEHEHEHE...

Sincerely, Neighbor McGee

You think of all the nearest "tracks":

The running track at the school,

The train track,

The horse racing track,

The Indy car track,

or The infamous local "Bigfoot Track"....

You're quite confused. You turn the note over and see what could be a hint...

Frampton, Simon, and Todd

Where has this mysterious "Neighbor McGee" taken your beloved CD?!

Parts of this are right, parts of this are wrong. What about Simon and Todd?

Ummm.

Indy cartrack, Frampton to SF, Todd Simon plays background trumpet for comercials, including the Volkwagon, a car! After my research, leading me to Ace International Speedway, in San Francisco.

Final: Indy car racetrack

Peter Frampton, Paul Simon, Mary Todd (Lincoln)...something to do with the band Peter, Paul, and Mary? They have an album called "No Easy Walk to Freedom," so for fun's sake I'll venture a guess that it's the running track?

:lol:Omg, I so love Europe. I even went back and bought a second cd after I lost the first one I bought. The chorous on all their songs is just them singing the title of the song (i.e., Rock the Night, (obviously) The Final Countdown, Cherokee,...).

It was still just so much fun :D

Love the reference :)

Peter, Paul and Mary also had another song on one of their early albums called "500 Mile" which was also called "Railroader's Lament". So I'll guess that the truly horrible Europe CD is at the train track.

Crap, great guess, but...

Peter, Paul, and Mary is right... but I didn't know about this "Railroader's lament" song... that would fit better than the one that is the real clue...

why did you not look for it bt the track - it was obviously this maniac who can't stand the song and compulsively hides the CDs

Mind you once you get to the right track, where will it be?

Railroad tracks.

They have 3 songs about trains - Freight Train, Morning Train and This Train.

A longer shot: They have a song called All My Trials, which is kind off related to Kris Kristofferson's Me & Bobby McGee - where the opening line has trains.

Something tells me I'm way off track though.

Well, something tells me this was a crappy hint altogether. I should've just done one of my normal ones.

In fact...

Your friend has pity on you and leaves you another note that says:

Think soupsphere.
