Nacho cheese!

The centegrade ball; the farenheight water is frozen

Climb a tree or play dead

Justin? Julia?

Open the top? Climb out? I'm confused. That seemed a little too easy.

He fell or empaled himself on a sharp block of ice, which later melted.

A quarter and a nickel. ONE of them isn't a nickel. One of them is.

Probably a hole. Though helium might be a possible solution too.

Not sure about #5 or #10

The one that is 20 degrees centegrade. 20 degrees farenheit is below freezing point, therefore it hits ice.

#3 Tiger

Stop imagining!

#6 The Box

#7 Accidental Suicide

He was stabbed in the back with an icicle.

#8 The Two Coins

A quarter and a nickle - the other one is the nickle.

Alternatively, a penny and a 1972 dime with a Roosevelt imperfection today worth exactly 29 cents. ;)

#9 What?

A hole.

!Bonus! Cut Along The Tracks

The train is moving at 40 miles per hour. Imagine that a friend is walking with you. When the train whistle blows you head away from the train he heads toward it. When he reaches safety you will be 6/8 (or 3/4)of the way across the bridge and the train

!Bonus! Cut Along The Tracks

The train is moving at 40 miles per hour. Imagine that a friend is walking with you. When the train whistle blows you head away from the train he heads toward it. When he reaches safety you will be 6/8 (or 3/4)of the way across the bridge and the train

here's how I solved that one - without "imagining".

the ratio of T1/T2 = 5/3

(at a constant rate of speed, 10mph, it will take you a unit of 5x time to get across 5/8 of the bridge, and it will take you a unit of 3x time to get across 3/8 of the bridge)

the relative speeds are inversely proportional: S1/S2 = 3/5

(ie.. I run towards an object going 20 MPH and I am going 10MPH, the relative speed between us is 30MPH). Given that ratio, and given our speed, we can set the train speed equal to X:

(X-10)/(X+10) = 3/5

solve for X ;)
